JENNIFER HILL
Baring her soul for all...
Jennifer Hill is an award winning recording artist and songwriter who grew up belting out her favorite songs by the stereo all night.
Her first full song being Bobby McGee at the age of 3 and she already had perfect pitch and a soul in her singing voice that was wise beyond her years.
As a young child her musical taste was influenced by the soulful songs continously played by Mom's stereo. Carol King, Aretha Franklin, Phoebe Snow, Gladys Night, Janis Joplin and Joni Mitchell were always on rotation, In fact, listening to Joni taught Jennifer how to sing in head voice at a very young age.
Add into her influences the fact that she grew up during the 90s, which was a burst of females singing all kinds of genres of music, and her sound is the perfect mix of her life's sound track. It combines trenchant, emotionally engaging lyrics with a sound grounded in those same iconic influences of her childhood.
Baring her soul for all to see, with vocals that have been compared to Winehouse and Gaga, she can make you swoon with a single note while getting you in the feelings with lyrics.
Her upcoming album LOVE BOMB (soon to be released this summer) is a mix of retro soul and pop produced by legendary producer Vic Steffens.
Jennifer is also known as the electro pop act Murderous Chanteuse and Indie rock band Jennifer Hill and Co. both found on all streaming services.
